Biography


Ygor Aguiar earned his B.Sc. in Automation Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande in 2015, followed by an M.Sc. in Microelectronics from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 2017, and a Ph.D. in Electronics from Université de Montpellier in 2020. He is currently an associate scientist at CERN and a postdoctoral researcher at Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne. His main research topics include the analysis and modeling of radiation effects in electronics, hardening techniques, radiation hardness assurance, and dosimetry.


Role in RADNEXT


Ygor contributes primarily to WP8/JRA4, where he co-supervises a Ph.D. student and manages the reporting of milestones and deliverables along with the WP leader. He is also an active member in WP2/NA1, overseeing the development of dissemination strategies and materials to communicate project findings. Additionally, he organizes and facilitates training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events for project participants and stakeholders.
